ABOUT SAGE ACCOUNTS SOLUTIONS

Our business is run by experienced Sage consultants, who are qualified accountancy and I.T. professionals. We’ve been working together since 2000 and in 2007 decided to form Sage Accounts Solutions, as the services we provided supported Sage software users.

Since forming in 2007 we’ve developed our range of services to include system implementation, integration with third party applications, layout design, data import/export to name but a few, however our core focus is and will always be training and support for Sage users.

What makes us different

We bridge the gap between accountancy and I.T. training, as we have an extensive knowledge of the software from a user perspective, an understanding of accountancy and are trained to a technical level on the software.

ACCREDITATION

We are one of a small number of Sage Accounting Partners in the UK who are accredited and certified by Sage (UK) Limited to train and support the following software:

  • Sage 50 Accounts
  • Sage 50 Payroll
  • Sage 50 Pension Module

MEET THE TEAM


Rebecca - Managing Director & Sage Consultant

Rebecca has been providing training to Sage users since 2000.

Rebecca is an experienced professional with a background in SMB accounting for Sole Traders, Partnerships, Limited Companies, Charities & Community Interest Companies (CIC’s).

Areas of expertise include analytics, reporting, software integration and implementing systems and procedures to improve efficiencies.

Always exploring innovative technologies and applications allows Rebecca to share her passion with others and she regularly teaches, consults, lectures and speaks about such topics.

Rebecca has worked with Gaynor and Charlie since 2000, providing Sage Training. In 2007 she joined the Sage Accounts Solutions team and in 2012 became a Director of the Company.

She lives in Cambridge and travels around East Anglia, London and the South East to visit clients onsite. She specialises in both Sage 50 Accounts and Sage 50 Payroll, and has become our ‘go-to’ consultant on matters to do with the Sage Pension Module and Auto Enrolment.

She enjoys project management and system implementation – helping clients make the move to Sage from other packages and integrating third party systems with Sage. She frequently writes Sage user guides for clients, so that they can use them as a point of reference whilst they get to grips with the program.

Rebecca enjoys projects which help clients implement business solutions specific to their needs.

She is Accredited by Sage UK on all aspects of Sage Accounts and Payroll and trained to a semi-technical level, so is able to complete network and standalone installations, if required.

Gaynor - Finance Director & Sage Consultant

For over 20 years, Gaynor has been training and supporting Sage users and has of business experience. She specialises in Sage support and helps clients with their management accounting. 

Gaynor spent 12 years in banking before moving into commerce, to have the flexibility to work full-time around the needs of her family. During this time she was asked to assist other business owners with their accounts. 

In 1993 she made the decision to start her own business supporting users of Sage. The business grew organically, through recommendation. During the next 10 years she helped a broad cross-section of businesses located in Norfolk and Suffolk with their accounts. As the business grew she was increasingly asked to help people get to grips with Sage, so they could keep on top of their accounts and use the program to produce management information. Gaynor had to step back from the business in 2000, due to ill health. Upon her return she decided she would focus on management accounting and Sage accounts support, which would enable her to be more office based.


Charlie - Director

Charlie is an I.T. specialist. He undertakes I.T, database and software support.

Having worked for the BBC as a design engineer he moved to Canada where he was design manager for a firm that manufactured video mixers.  He spent two years there before returning to the UK to specialise in information technology. 

He undertakes software installations, rebuilds and  the technical aspects of client projects.

Sage is often used alongside third party applications and businesses often wish to extract information from their previous accounting programs, before using Sage.  Charlie’s understanding of the technical aspects of programs allows us to provide a multi-faceted approached to projects.

Claire - Director & Sage Trainer 

Claire is a Sage trainer and one of our technical support team for Sage One, Sage 50 Accounts & Payroll. 

She joined us when we formed in 2007, when she started training people how to use Sage and after a break returned in February 2015, after having a family.

Claire delivers our beginners and improvers classroom courses as well as bespoke training to clients at their offices. In addition she specialises in helping clients set up and use SageDrive for Sage 50 Accounts and the recently introduced Sage Online Payslips for Sage 50 Payroll.

Before having her daughter, Claire was one of only three female volunteer Lifeboat crew members at her local RNLI station.  She continues to undertake volunteer work in the local community.

Sharlette - Accounts & Payroll

Sharlette joined Sage Accounts Solutions in January 2018. 

She is responsible for payroll (her favourite) and accounts support within the team and for our clients. 

She is currently undertaking her Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) qualification. 

Sharlette is Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualified. She has over 10 years accountancy experience.

Helen - Sage Trainer & Report Design Technician

Helen joins the team with over 20 years experience in accounting, in various different industries, such as Manufacturing, Charities, Management Accounting and Specialist Electrical's.

Helen started her career in Bookkeeping, running a Purchase Ledger for a bakery, which was lethal for the diet!

Her love of Sage brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding to the team and she is really passionate about her role here.

In her spare time, Helen enjoys riding her horse, Molly, although she doesn’t get to ride her as much as she would like.  She has a passion for music of all genres, and even enjoys playing her own musical instruments, of which she has accumulated many over the years.

Gemma - Virtual Assistant

Gemma is a Virtual Assistant who is working closely with us to support all of our administration and design needs.

She has over 20 years experience in administration and customer service and is currently studying bookkeeping online. She enjoys all aspects of Social Media Management and Blogging.

In her spare time, Gemma enjoys spending time with family and socialising with friends. She has a love for Rugby League and supports St.Helens RLFC. She is based in Stamford in Lincolnshire but  she is still a Northern girl at heart.
