What’s new in the Sage 50cloud Accounts and Sage 50 Accounts v27.1 release?

Following the release of the latest version of Sage 50cloud Accounts and Sage 50 Accounts, v27.1, we thought we would put some facts together for you about what’s new.

What’s new in Sage 50 Cloud Accounts?

  1. The new upgrade gives you assistance to ensure that you are Brexit compliant, with the introduction of new tax codes. Download our latest Post-Brexit Tax Code Guide here:

2. With the introduction of a new commercial invoice layout template it’s now easier to remember not to overlook import and export formalities. Watch our Masterclass on Sage 50 Commercial Invoice Layouts:

3. Two new country codes have been added for the sale and purchase of goods for Northern Ireland and Great Britain:

Within this latest upgrade the following have been upgraded within Sage 50 Cloud Accounts:

Remote Data Access – To make the process easier the set up for the encryption password has now been integrated with the Remote Data Access setup. When connecting to shared data Sage has added additional information to help you to identify the correct company. New users can also be created when linking remote users to user records in the user mapping window.

And within Sage 50 Cloud Accounts and Sage 50 Accounts: 

Auto-Updates have been made more simple. Once you have made the transition to v27.1 new updates will be easier with one-click installation.

Improvements have been made to the Help Centre. When accessing the Help Centre from your Sage Software, it will now use your default internet browser meaning that you can keep articles open to read even if you have had to close down the software.
